Scenario 1: In-school classes resume

Learning Commons

The Learning Commons is available for use during regular school hours including lunch break. Students, you do not need to wait for your scheduled class time to exchange books!

Miss Redman is available from 8:30am-3:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and from 9:30am-3:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you need to borrow a laptop outside of these hours, please go to the office.

The Learn Alberta Online Resource Centre is accessible ALL the time and is a fantastic reference resource. These databases are full of current and reputable sources which can be referenced in reports and projects. Please contact Miss Redman for a username and password which will enable you to access it from home as well as school.

A small but mighty Rocky Mountain Book Club meets in the Learning Commons each Monday at lunch.

THANK YOU to everyone who helped with our Scholastic Book Fair in December! We earned 60% of our total sales back in product which has meant a LOT of new books for our library collection. If you would like to order from the monthly Scholastic flyer, you may bring in paper orders by the 15th of each month, or order online following the Scholastic Canada link. Choose Fairbairn as your school and then select the appropriate staff member. If your homeroom teacher is not listed, then choose Learning Commons Facilitator Michelle Redman and your order will be delivered to our Learning Commons.
