I am your Family School Liaison Counsellor here at SJF. This somewhat long title means I do a mix of 1 on 1 meetings with students, family support and connections to agencies in the community, lunch hour groups, and general student support. Students often connect with me when… 

• They need a quiet space to regulate 
• Something is worrying them and they need someone to talk to
• They forgot a lunch and need something to eat 
• They want to develop skills in self-confidence, positive friendships, or mindfulness 

Middle school comes with some unique challenges and the most important thing I want students to know is that they are not alone. We can tackle the exam stress, friendship conflict, anxiousness, or whatever else may come up together.
